Black Sesame Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ground black sesame powder
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups light cream
- 1 cup sugar
Method
- Put black sesame, whole milk, and light cream in a saucepan. Slowly raise heat to 175 degF while stirring.
- Once it hits 175 degF or is at a low simmer, turn off heat.
- Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Cool to room temperature.
- Put mixture in the refrigerator to "age" overnight.
- Pour the mixture into the ice cream machine. Let it run about 30 minutes.
- Harden the ice cream by putting it in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
